How it works
The generator wraps each URL in <url> entries with lastmod, changefreq and priority attributes inside a proper <urlset> document. The output validates against the official sitemap.org schema.
Worked example
One URL each for your homepage, about, services and contact pages, with priority 1.0 for the homepage and 0.8 for key pages — exactly what Google recommends for small sites.
Recommendations
- Include only indexable pages — exclude login, cart and search result URLs
- Use priority 1.0 sparingly; Google mostly ignores it but a clear hierarchy helps
- Update the lastmod date whenever you publish or edit important content
